I was moved by your post and story. I write at times about domestic violence and am a strong believer to end violence we must raise strong young men that respect others. I too had to raise a son, alone most of the time and stand back proud today that now at 28, he is raising his 6 year old son with the same things, he is kind, respects others and is just the type of man you would want your son to be in life, he broke the cycle with how he treated others. I will mention this post and a link back to your site.

My son is very into sports as well. It’s really difficult to make sure they stay kind around some of the challenging behaviour they see but your advice is great! I’ll be using that phrase for sure. Thank you
