Description
This 6 week BETA course designed for Educators will give you the tools and resources you need to create a kind, positive, inclusive school environment in a systematic way that doesn’t stop at Kindness Week (PS. Kindness Week doesn’t work!)
This course is designed for K-5 Elementary school classrooms and counselors, but can absolutely be adapted to Pre-K and middle school campuses.
When you sign up, you will be invited to our private LIVE zoom call trainings, once a week for 6 weeks. If you can’t make it, the recorded version will be available to you. The calls will be Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm Central (5:30 pm Pacific, 8:30 pm Eastern) for one hour: June 2, June 9, June 16, June 23 (skip the week of June 30), July 7, and July 14th.
My responsibilities: give you the tools and systems and resources that will allow classroom educators, counselors and administrators build meaningful SEL curriculum into everyday lessons so kindness becomes a habit and everyone feels safe to learn at school. This is NOT ‘a wouldn’t kindness be nice to have?‘ course. Instead, this is a ‘here’s how to step by step make kindness happen, actively prevent bullying, and fit it in with your current curriculum and busy schedules without losing your mind‘ course.
Your responsibilities: Show up to the training and give me weekly feedback so I can make the training even more comprehensive and user-friendly before I launch it and open it up to other educators. Your job is to tell me what I need to expand on and to ask me questions I didn’t think to answer that would be helpful to you and your colleagues (I’ve been out of the classroom for a few years and need YOUR input!)
*Check with your administration to see if these hours apply for continuing education. I will be happy to verify hours.
When the course is published and launched, it will sell for $59. But right now, you can join us and get all of the exact same information, tools, and printable resources for only $17.99.
I hope you’ll join us and learn strategies to start the school year off on the right foot because our world (our classrooms, our school environments, our communities, our world at large) needs more kind kids. With 20+ kids in our classroom each year, you have the power to make that happen.
And with this Teaching Kind Kids course, you’ll have the resources to make that happen.
