Inside: Use these Fall Kindness Notes to spread kindness to neighbors and friends this autumn. It’s a perfect way to connect during the fall and cheer up neighbors.

Where we live, fall is upon us.

The warm mornings and evenings have been replaced with a chill in the air.

This means all things pumpkin have sprung up, apple picking is how many families spend their weekends, and there’s talk of Halloween costumes and who is trick or treating with whom.

Fall just happens to be my favorite season because I can pull out my cute sweaters and boots and I am firmly planted in Team Pumpkin Spice Latte.

But fall is also a great time to reconnect with neighbors and friends because with summer vacations over, we’re all home more often.

So fall is also the perfect time to spread kindness to our neighbors and friends.

Ways to Spread Kindness and Cheer During September, October, and November

If we want to raise kind kids, we have to give them specific and tangible ways they can speak and act with kindness more often.

Because being kind takes practice before it can become a habit for our kids.

Fall is a great time to help our kids spread kindness to those around them.

You can countdown to Thanksgiving Break or you can use this Fall Kindness Challenge to encourage one act of kindness per week.

You can focus on volunteering with your family this spring with our September Volunteer Challenge, our October Volunteer Challenge, and our November Volunteer Challenge.

2. You can write your name on each of the cards or choose to remain anonymous so the notes are more of a random act of kindness.

3. For the apple cider notecard, tape an apple cider packet to the note before delivering. If there’s more than one child at the house, make sure to include the right number of apple cider packets.

4. The card asking neighbors if they need help is perfect for anyone living alone, single parents, parents with a newborn baby, or elderly neighbors.

5. These are perfect to hand out to neighbors as you walk around the neighborhood as a family.
