Inside: 50+ gifts for kids who love to cook and bake or gifts to encourage kids to spend more time in the kitchen helping prepare food.
Ever since my kids were little, they were in the kitchen with me.
They started by pouring in the things I measured out as we made our Sunday Morning banana pancakes and they have graduated to cooking family meals for us.
And I love that we spend time together in the kitchen because it’s an easy way to connect as a family when we cook and bake together.
I love that I’ve been able to show them how to make family recipes we make on holidays and how to bake Friendship Cookies.
And I’ve taught them how to make their own school lunches so I don’t have to anymore.
When my kids aren’t in the kitchen actually cooking or baking, they’re playing restaurant or store in their pretend kitchens (we have two) or in my daughter’s outdoor mud kitchen.
