Inside: Use these fun and engaging gingerbread activities and gingerbread printables that are great for classrooms and families.
When my kids were little, a dear friend offered to host a gingerbread house making party.
She had 40 kids attend and she had 40 homemade gingerbread houses all based and assembled and ready to go. All we had to do was show up and decorate with the candy we brought.
Which was of course a huge hit. My kids were ecstatic and brought home incredible creations they enjoyed then slowly ate over the course of December and January.
And we did it every year so it quickly became a favorite family tradition.
When we moved across the country, my kids still expected this tradition to continue however and due to my son’s food allergies, I had to learn how to make gingerbread houses from scratch and buy new gingerbread house cookie cutters.
So, our gingerbread house making tradition continues every December. So my kids love all things gingerbread.
And you will love these gingerbread activities and gingerbread printables we’ve gathered that are perfect for all of December. They’re fun, engaging, and perfect to do while you’re munching on your delicious gingerbread house.
