These kindness printables and kindness Alphabet Posters allow students to really understand what social-emotional learning words mean, even when it’s hard for us teachers to describe them and really help our students understand. By using the alphabet to show what kindness looks and sounds like, we give students tangible things they can do to speak and act with kindness more often.
These come in color and black and white which can then be printed on colored paper. These can be turned into books for students or used as kindness alphabet posters around your classroom.
Following the alphabet from A-Z, students will learn 26 different ways to show kindness to their classmates, school staff, and families.
Teachers can then challenge their students to do each of these 26 acts on the record sheet that also comes in color or black and white because instead of just talking about kindness, we need to encourage our kids to take action. Kindness is a verb and they need to practice.
These kindness activities can then be stapled together to make a book for students to keep or can be hung up around the classroom to remind students during tricky social situations.
