Inside: Spread kindness this St. Patrick’s Day by writing on and sharing these printables St. Patrick’s Day cards with special people.
Ever since my brother was born on St. Patrick’s is been a highly celebrated holiday in our home.
We make leprechaun traps and eat corned beef and dye food bright green.
And since we’re also on purpose raising kind kids, we also spend time on St. Patty’s Day spreading some of that kindness to our friends and family.
One of the easiest ways to spread kindness is to give out compliments, kindness notes, or kind cards.
When we take time thanking people by writing thoughtful thank you notes, or telling the people in our lives why they’re important to us, we share our kind thoughts with others.
And what better way to spend the luckiest day of the year than to tell others why we know we’re lucky they’re in our lives?

Why We Need to Spread Kindness
I think we can agree there’s enough hate in the world. Turn on any news channel, and those are the top ten stories. And it’s a shame. Because there’s so much goodness and kindness in the world.
And I am on a mission to add to that kindness by raising kind kids. It’s so important in our family, it’s one of our only two family rules.

But we also actively teach our kids ways to show just how kind they are.
We encourage them to show their kindness with this 100 Acts of Kindness Challenge.
We brought the Kindness Elves into our home.
And we do fun, seasonal activities with our kids like sending out these St. Patrick’s Day cards.
If we want to be part of the solution and increase the everyday, normal acts of kindness in the world, we need to actively encourage and offer opportunities for our kids to show they’re kind.
