Inside: These Valentine’s Day activities are perfect for celebrating all things Valentine’s Day with arts and crafts and love and kindness notes.
Candies and hearts and chocolate.
Around here, we love Valentine’s Day.
My kids have always looked forward to making and then delivering their Valentines to their classmates, neighbors, and friends.
So our house goes all pink and red and purple the days leading up to February 14th.
We make heart pancakes and write out Valentine’s kindness notes to each other and make dinner reservations at crowded overpriced restaurants for date night.
And we love making Valentine’s Day crafts.
Here are a few of our favorite Valentine’s Day activities for kids.
We start out February with this Valentine’s Day Countdown Calendar:
And each day of February, we spread kindness and love with these Valentine’s Day kindness notes:
Kindness Valentine Printables your kids can fill out for classmates and adults at school.
Want to volunteer with your kids? Use this February Volunteer Challenge idea that’s kid-friendly and perfect for families and classrooms:
We also spread kindness on Valentine’s Day with the Kindness Elves and their ideas:
Here are a few of the Valentine’s Day Kindness ideas the Kindness Elves share with us:
We love to create Valentine’s Day Pointillism Art that can be Valentine’s Day cards or art
We also help our kids learn how to sew with these meat trays and beginner sewing needles to create Valentine’s Day sewing art:
After Valentine’s Day, my kids are always desperate to hang onto their Valentine’s Day cards from their classmates as long as they can.
And I am always desperate to get them off the kitchen table and kitchen floor and where ever else they spread them out.
So we came up with this really fun way for them to keep their Valentine’s Day cards and I don’t have to constantly pick them up or ask them too… we make Valentine’s Day Placemats from their cards.
This would be a great Valentine for older kids:
