Description
These Hanukkah themed activities in this Hanukkah Kindness Bundle are a great way to introduce character education and social emotional learning curriculum in a fun and hands-on way for December. They can be a kindness lesson or can be individual social emotional learning activities.
Students can read about all the ways to be kind (sharing, turn taking, being polite, giving compliments) in this Hanukkah Kindness emergent reader student book that comes in color and black and white as a beginning activity.
Students can sort the Hanukkah gelt (money) during centers, in a small group, or for individual seat work as a good choice bad choice sort for different behaviors.
They can also do some December writing with a creative write about ways they can be kind or draw a picture showing how they’re going to be kind in December.
Students can prepare for Hanukkah with this Hanukkah Kindness Role Playing Cards to practice being kind during Hanukkah.
And students can countdown through Hanukkah with 8 kindness activities, one for each day of Hanukkah.
This is perfect for Preschool, Kindergarten students, first grade students, 2nd grade students, and 3rd grade students.
